Gwen Leron is the founder of Delightful Adventures. She's a self-taught baker and cook and lives in Ontario, Canada. She has been fully vegan for more than 12 years and loves to challenge herself by taking old favourite recipes and transforming them to be vegan.

Experience
Gwen has been cooking and baking since childhood and has been an informal recipe developer well before this website existed, but formally through this website since 2014.
As a vegan for 12+ years, she eagerly accepted the challenge of converting all of her old favourite recipes to be vegan and developing a few new-to-her recipes along the way.
She tests every recipe until it's perfect and at a stage where she feels comfortable sharing it with the world. While some recipes take just two or three tries, some take over 10+ tests to get it right.
Expertise
She started Delightful Adventures in 2014 as a side project to feed her love of recipe development, food photography, and sharing good food with others.
She has been a recipe developer, food photographer, and content creator on Delightful Adventures since 2014.
The website started out with vegan recipes from all courses, with a heavy focus on desserts, baking, and vegan gluten-free recipes. However, more recently, Gwen has decided to focus fully on vegan baking and dessert recipes.

Education
Gwen chose Journalism for her post-secondary studies. After completing her journalism program, she returned to school to study computer programming to combine her writing background with technical expertise.
She began her career as a technical writer and later added freelance writing to her work. Today, she continues to work in both fields, with over 20 years of experience in technical writing and more than 15 years as a freelance writer.
Fun Facts
- Libby is her favourite phone app. She listens to audiobooks while she's in the kitchen (which is a lot!) and aims to read/listen to at least 100 books per year.
- Her favourite dessert to photograph is cookies.
- She's a textbook introvert.
- Her favourite dessert to eat (and make!) has always been cake (and probably always will be!)
