Mission
My mission with Delightful Adventures is to share easy vegan recipes, with a focus on baking and desserts, that are thoroughly tested, reliable, approachable, and:
- are simple enough that anyone at any baking or cooking level can easily make them.
- are not over-the-top, and don't require uncommon ingredients.
- are impressive enough to serve guests but simple enough to make for your family on any regular day.
- taste great!
Recipe Development, Testing, and Publishing
Every recipe on Delightful Adventures was tested an average of three to four times (sometimes more!) by me, Gwen Leron.
I care deeply about only sharing recipes you can easily and consistently replicate in your kitchen. I will never share a recipe on Delightful Adventures that is not a consistent success in my kitchen. Many recipes don’t make it past the testing stage because I was not able to perfect them to a point where I felt comfortable sharing them.
As a result of my lengthy testing process, I learn each recipe inside out and share everything you need to know, including step-by-step process images, tips and tricks, notes, videos, ingredient information, substitution information, plus tools and equipment I use.
I do not purchase or publish recipes created by others on this website, except for a few that were part of a recipe book review (these recipes are disclosed and clearly marked). All photos and videos were shot by me, I do not purchase photos or videos from others.
I do not use AI to generate content, recipes, images, or videos on this website, it's all done the old-fashioned way, by a human, me!
Recipe inspiration and adaptations are noted where necessary.
Maintaining and Updating Content
I am continuously updating older content on Delightful Adventures as the website evolves and grows. This includes reshooting photos, adding process photos, and updating text.
In some rare cases, I will also make small changes to a recipe to make the process or result better than the original based on new techniques or discoveries I’ve made over the many years of developing recipes.
You can view when a page was last updated at the top of each post.
If there is a recipe you can't find, please get in touch and I will assist.

I love and enjoy every recipe on this website, but I understand that not everyone has the same tastes. Critical comments and star ratings from those who have made a recipe are accepted but please remain respectful and constructive when leaving a comment about something you may not have enjoyed.
Comments that are threatening, disrespectful, hateful, offensive, off-topic, or don’t share helpful, personal experiences will be rejected.
Star Ratings
Please refrain from rating a recipe if you haven’t made it. Star ratings from those who have not made the recipe but rate it because they don't like something about it, will not be accepted.
If an error is made while making the recipe or if changes are made (like substituting a major ingredient, making substantial changes to the recipe, and/or not following the recipe as it is written) you are rating an inaccurate representation of the intended recipe. If the recipe did not turn out as you wanted it to and changes were made, that is not the fault of the recipe, so unfair ratings such as these will not be accepted.
If you are ever unsure about something in a recipe or want to make a change or ingredient substitution, please feel free to email me in advance and I will help walk you through it.
Submitted star ratings will never be edited to unfairly boost a recipe.
Errors and Corrections
I aim for perfection and accuracy in every recipe and page I publish on Delightful Adventures, but unintentional mistakes happen. If you come across any type of error and you have the time, please let me know.
