EASY STRAWBERRY SAUCE

WITH FRESH OR FROZEN BERRIES

All you need to make this easy, homemade strawberry sauce is THREE simple ingredients!  Use it as  a topping for cheesecake, ice cream, waffles, crepes + more.

Gather the Ingredients

- Strawberries (Fresh or Frozen) - Sugar - Lemon Juice

Wash, hull, and chop the strawberries, then add the strawberries, sugar, and  lemon juice to a medium pot.

Mix the ingredients together and place uncovered pot over medium heat.

Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes for a thinner sauce and 20 minutes for a thicker sauce. Stir occasionally.

Remove the pot from the stove and allow the sauce to cool completely.

Once cooled, place the sauce in a jar, cover, and refrigerate for up to 7 days.

Use as a topping for ice cream, cheesecake, and more!
