QUICK & EASY CHERRY SAUCE

WITH FRESH OR FROZEN CHERRIES

A delicious 5-ingredient, cherry sauce you can make with frozen OR fresh cherries. Use it as  a topping for cheesecake, ice cream, waffles, crepes + more.

Gather the Ingredients

water – sugar – cornstarch or arrowroot starch – lemon juice – frozen (or fresh) sweet cherries

- Add water, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice to a small pot. Whisk. – Place pot over medium heat and whisk continuously until it starts to thicken.

– Add frozen cherries and stir. When mixture starts to bubble, turn the heat down to low and simmer until the sauce has thickened and looks  glossy.

Remove the pot from the stove and allow the sauce to cool completely.

Once cooled, place the sauce in a jar, cover, and refrigerate for up to 7 days.

Use as a topping for ice cream, mousse, cheesecake, and more!
